However, modern training techniques often create unnecessary psychological tension and anxiety in horses, which in turn can induce physical discomfort, behavioural problems, limit or reduce performance, and potentially even shorten the healthy working life of your horse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A wide range of issues can be resolved through simple and clear communication, co-operation and reward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether you\u2019re a grassroots rider preparing to ride your first dressage, have ambitions to ride at Badminton Horse Trials, or simply want to enjoy a more relaxed and productive partnership with your horse, Jon works with the natural instincts and psychology of horses to resolve issues and improve performance through simple, clear and consistent communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having evented Internationally for many years and worked with some of the world\u2019s leading trainers, Jon coaches riders of all levels of experience, ability and ambition. He has extensive experience of working with \u2018problem\u2019 and young horses, and acts as an Expert Witnessing legal disputes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As BHS Coach of the Year in 2018, a Centre 10 Elite Coach, BHS Stage 5 Performance Coach (BHSI), British Eventing Accredited Coach, and with an Honours Degree in Equine Sports Science, Jon is also highly qualified.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
